The Variety Gold Heart Scholarship fund makes available a maximum of $5,000 per annum for up to 3 years to help children with special needs fulfill their dreams. This could include assisting with tuition fees, personal development, coaching, and the purchase of training equipment, travel or accommodation.

Applications for the 2010 Gold Heart Scholarship Programme are now open and will close on March 31, 2010. Application forms are available here and more information about the scholarship criteria is available here.

• Applications must be received in full at Variety by 5pm 31st March 2010
• 2010 scholarship funds must be spent between 1July 2010 and 30 June 2011
• Scholarships are for individual use only – not available to organisations.
• Application must be made by individual (and/or family) not another person, group or organisation.
